ENTRY GUIDELINES

1. Read the category descriptions carefully and consider these ahead of submitting the entry. The full list of categories is available on the entry system dashboard and on www.radioawards.co.za

2. Make sure that you have submitted your entry into the correct category.

3. Make sure the show name or presenter name is written correctly and in full

4. Note the limitation on number of entries per category type:

  • Presenter categories – only one submission per presenter will be permitted in each category. (Stations may submit up to
    three entries in a category, but only one for each presenter.)
  • Producer categories – only one submission per producer will be permitted in each category (Stations may submit up to
    three entries in a category, but only one for each producer.)
  • News reader category – only one submission per reader is permitted. (Stations may submit up to three entries in a
    category, but only one for each newsreader).
  • Show categories – only one submission per show will be permitted in each category. (Stations may submit up to three
    entries in a category, but only one for each show.)
  • Community Project category – no more than three entries per station.
  • Programme Innovation category – no more than three entries per station.
  • On-Air packaging category – no more than three entries per station.
  • Internet show category – a maximum of three entries per station, and only one entry per show.
  • Podcast category – a maximum of three entries per station/production organisation.
  • Nomination categories – a maximum of three entries per station, given that the nominees meet the required criteria for the category type.
